Designed by Canadian artist Silvia Pecota,your coin features full colour over an engraved hockey-themed scene set at an outdoor rink. The sun has set over this neighbourhood, but that hasn'tstopped a group of youths from continuing their game well into the evening. Under the glow of a streetlight, five youths proudly wear their team coloursand skates as they play over the mirror-like ice surface. While one player looks on, two players find themselves tied up in their efforts to get the puck; meanwhile, another player has possession of the puck and takes the shot-it's a goal! Kneeling on leg pads, the goaltender turns to look behind in disbelief at the puck in the net. Above thescene is the Montreal Canadiens ¨ logo, with its iconic red "C" outlined in blue and white, and a smaller"H" inside.
