Design:
A sci-fi and pop culture icon, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D is brought to life by a vibrant colour application on your coin. The Galaxy-class vessel is set against a vivid green nebula, which adds a dynamic sense of movement and energy tothe deep space setting. A frontal view allows for the study of the underside of the ship's saucerand the stardrive section, whose navigational deflector is easily identified by the red concentric circles. This feature is also incorporated twice in the engraved frame that surrounds the colour image and bears the engraved words "STAR TREK" and"CANADA" in a Star Trek font. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen ElizabethII by Susanna Blunt.
