A legacy to last the ages.
More than any other monarchy, our Royal Family is arguably the most visible and best known worldwide and has played asignificant role in Canadian life for centuries.
Throughout, the continuity of the crown hasbeen of paramount importance, every king andqueen contributing to the adaptability that hasenabled their institution to survive. Today, themonarch's role is vastly different from that ofearlier sovereigns but it is woven with the strongthreads of history; past glories that have thepower to evoke a powerful sense of emotion andaffection in a modern world.
